Call-out Mornington Tower

Today at 1402hrs we received a call reporting issues with the life-rings in Mornington Tower. On arrival we discovered 3 life-rings damaged, the rope had been cut. Also a further 3 missing altogether. And 1 housing removed. We repaired the 3 with new rope, and placed 3 new ones in the empty holders.

This is a ongoing issue in the area, and we urge people to report anyone interfering with the life saving devices.

Laytown/Ashbourne Gardai also informed along with Meath County Council

Mobile 1 left the area at 1532 after restaging all.
