Thanks to the member of the public who contacted us about a lifebuoy they found in Baltray. We collected same and checked the ones in the area. We also checked the ones in Mornington and replaced one that was out of the housing and knotted.

Incident Mornington Beach Call received 2020hrs. Mobile 1 is currently on scene replacing and fixing life-rings which were tampered with beside Mornington Tower. We would remind people that its on offence to interfere with them. And that they are there for saving lifes.

Damaged Lifebuoys

Thanks to Meath County Council, who dropped off New Life-Rings and rope to us. Those that were missing/damaged were replaced by us today in the Mornington/Bettystown/Laytown area. Could we kindly remind people not to use the holders as litter bins, or for your dog poop, please use designated bins or bring it home with you.
