At 1742 we received a call-out about a Male that may be entering the river along the haymarket bridge area.

Several crews were despatched to the immediate area, an intensive search of the area was carried out.

Following discussions with Drogheda Gardai and after further information was received the search was stood down.

On scene was Drogheda Gardai and Drogheda river rescue and recovery service.
