2 Seperate Incidents,

2 Successful Prevention’s tonight.

Around 2130hrs we were alerted to a incident on Dominic’s Bridge, Mobile 1 attended and noticed a Male in the middle of the bridge looking into the river, our suicide prevention crew spoke to him, reassured him and with the help of Drogheda Gardai he was escorted off the bridge. The doctor on call was notified and attended Drogheda station.

At approx 2138hrs During the above incident we were also alerted to another incident up beside Mell Football pitch. A 2nd crew was dispatched and attended this.

Thankfully neither entered the water tonight.

On scene was Drogheda River Rescue and Drogheda Gardai.
